In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
